United States Northern Ireland Supporters Club

Green & White ArmyStateside.

Northern Ireland fans from coast to coast. Some of us were born in Ulster, some married into it, some just fell for a wee country that punches miles above its weight. We watch together, travel together and sing a long way from Windsor Park.

Fixtures

Kick-off, your time.

An evening game at Windsor Park usually lands at lunchtime or mid-afternoon in the States. Every upcoming fixture is shown in Eastern, Central, Mountain and Pacific time.

Watching in the US: FOX Sports holds US rights to the Nations League and European qualifiers through 2028. Not every Northern Ireland match airs, so check listings. Watching together: post your city on our Facebook page and find fellow fans nearby.

Our story

Our wee country. A long history.

The Irish FA is one of the oldest football associations in the world. Here are the moments every Northern Ireland fan knows by heart, plus a couple that happened right here in America.

1880

The Irish FA is founded

Two years later comes the first international, an 0-13 defeat to England. Everyone starts somewhere.

1910

Windsor Park

Home of Northern Ireland ever since. Today it is the National Football Stadium, holding 18,434.

1958

World Cup quarter-final

Beat Czechoslovakia in a play-off to reach the last eight in Sweden. Still the best run in the team's history.

1982

Beat the hosts

A 1-0 win over Spain in Valencia sends Northern Ireland through to the second round.

1986

Mexico

A third World Cup, in a group with Algeria, Spain and Brazil.

2006

Stateside

Two friendlies on American soil, at Giants Stadium against Uruguay and Soldier Field against Romania. The same year the fans won the Brussels International Supporters Award.

2016

Euro 2016

A first European Championship, a famous 2-0 win over Ukraine and a place in the last 16. The fans went home with the Medal of the City of Paris.

2026

So close to America

Through to the World Cup playoffs, ended by Italy in March, just two wins from a summer in the US. Now Michael O'Neill's side is back on the road in the Nations League.

Ulster & America

We've been here a while.

Northern Ireland and the United States go back to before there was a United States. Ulster emigrants helped settle Pennsylvania and the Appalachians, and their descendants include presidents.

200,000+people left Ulster for the thirteen colonies between about 1717 and 1775.
